Prizm Payments is unique in the market that it uses a combination of a Direct Sales Team (DST) and outsourced Direct Selling Agents (DSAs). DSAs are managed by DSTs who also in turn manage big–box retailers and corporates.
A DSA is an agency that has feet on the street staff that are trained by Prizm’s DST specifically on the bank’s strategy to acquire merchants. These DSAs meet select merchants and convince them to deploy a bank EFT–POS terminal. If convinced, the DSA will collect documentation for the bank to conduct a proper Know Your Customer (KYC) and Underwriting Decision (for credit limit). The DSA is responsible for co–ordination of agreement sign up, account opening and document collection. Prizm Payments has dedicated DSAs working for it and depending on the needs can ramp up these outsourced agencies.
A DST manages one or more DSA in the region. The DST also deals directly with big–box retailers‚ retail chains and corporates and assists in the terminal deployment in these merchant establishments.
